Delivering to a DeSoto Park Pavilion

Renting a city pavilion and having the tables and chairs brought to you is one of the easiest ways to throw a large party in DeSoto — but the city's rules shape your planning in three specific ways, and all three are worth knowing before you pick a date.

First, there is a season. DeSoto park pavilions are only available March 1 through October 31. A November birthday or a February family gathering is not going to happen under a city pavilion, so those move to a backyard, a hall, or a church room — and we deliver to all three just the same. If your date is flexible and you want the pavilion, keep it inside that window.

Second, pavilions are rented in five-hour blocks or all day. The five-hour block is the one that rewards planning, because your delivery, your setup, the event itself, and the teardown all have to fit inside it. Five hours disappears quickly when the first hour goes to arranging tables. If the all-day rate fits your budget, it buys you a relaxed morning; if you are working with a block, have us deliver right at the start of it and plan to be seated within the first hour.

Third, reservations must be made at least seven days before the rental date, and they can be booked online. That is a friendlier lead time than some neighboring cities, but a week is not much cushion for a Saturday in May. The practical move is to book the pavilion online the moment your date is settled, then send us the same date while the confirmation is still on your screen — a 25% deposit locks the equipment in on our end.

One last thing for park events: check what fixed seating is already at your pavilion and rent only the difference. Chairs are $2 apiece, so the temptation is to over-order, but hauling and stacking chairs nobody sits in is work you can skip. Pickup, Delivery, and What Happens After

Free pickup at our DFW lot is the cheapest route and works fine for smaller orders — tables fold flat, chairs stack, and it all rides in a truck bed or an SUV with the seats folded down. Delivery is priced by your location, and it is the sensible option for pavilion events, big headcounts, or any Saturday where you would rather be cooking than driving.

Either way, a 25% deposit reserves the date and the equipment, with the balance due when you get it. After every event the tables and chairs come back to the lot to be cleaned and sanitized before they are counted and stacked for the next customer, so nothing shows up at your party needing a wipe-down first.
